Let's Talk Eyeshadow: Mac saddle, Brown script, Expensive Pink andBronze

5/22/2015

It makes so much more sense to purchase Mac shadows in the pro-pans (they're much cheaper, when you consider what you save on 4 of them) and the put them into these palettes. You can easily move shadows around and rearrange and re-organize them for a specific need, as I often do when I travel. I find it easier to take all my favourite eyeshadow around - it's more practical for me personally. I don't regret switching to pans and I will probably never buy the pot one again.

So I got the shade Expensive pink, Brown Script, Bronze and Saddle.

Expensive pink as described by MAC is a pink gold duo chrome in veluxe pearl finish.

This eyeshadow is exactly what the name says, a nice subtly pink with a gold sparkle that looks like expensive rose gold. The pigmentation is decent and enough for a colour of this kind to show on my complexion. If it doesn't work as an eye shadow for you, give it a try as a blush.

Brown Script is best described as a rich, terracotta brown with more of a red base. Its matte formula applies well, blends easily and functions superbly in conservative or dramatic eyeshadow looks. This color is very pigmented so don’t use too much when applying.

Bronze is a warm, golden neutral brown easily paired with other shades in MAC’s extensive collection of colors. This has a small amount of shimmer, but it’s not over the top like some other formulas. Bronze is especially beautiful when paired with golds and pinks. It is ideal for toning down a strong colo

Saddle is a warm orange brown. It has excellent pigmentation and is easy to blend. This is a beautiful transitional shade for women of color

Here's a look I created using expensive pink as my lid color, brown script as a transitional color and a matte brown eyeshadow to contour.
